Material
- 8 bottles with perforated tops with covering caps. Suggested scents:
-2 bottles with coffee,
-2 bottles with lavender,
-2 bottles with mint,
-2 bottles with sage.
The contents should have pleasant scents. You could increase the numbers of paired bottles. Also, the contents should not be visible.

Control of error
The look of the bottles is identical, but one may put an identifying mark on each base. The teacher acts as arbiter if asked.

2½ to 5 years.
Presentation
- Show the child how to hold beneath nose when cap is removed.
- The child is shown how to place matching pairs together, to one side, replacing the caps.
Language
Coffee, lavender, mint, sage or whatever has been chosen for the contents.
